That was painfully slow when those consoles were new, but by modern standards where PC users have NVMe drives capable of around 40x the read speeds of those drives, totally unbearable. I had to do that then deleted steam and rocksmith form accessibility and input in the security and permissions. Now the only problem seems to be that the volume of my bass is REALLY low, but hey, I can play (will be fiddling with the real tone cable volume setting next. Unplugged my bass and tuned it on my amp, plugged back into rocksmith and was able to tune correctly. Mouse and Real Tone Cable work, but then had issues trying to tune my bass (got the annoying Loosen string! Tighten String, make sure you're using a bsss) crap. Get completely out of Rocksmith and Steam and follow the directions (I'm on a mac) to reset the permissions for accessibility and input monitoring, locked system Preferences back on, unlocked it and gave back permissions for Accessibility and input monitoring.
